How does an advertiser open a Trafficvance account and what is included with an account?

Trafficvance accounts are free and there is no obligation to sign–up.  All advertisers must be approved and the minimum deposit to get started is $1,000.  Accounts may be set up with different campaigns, different creatives, and multiple keyword lists.  Accounts include, at no charge, a very broad reporting suite and multiple controls to manage and optimize campaigns.

How does Trafficvance charge advertisers?

Most ad units are based upon CPC or CPV pricing. In case of CPC pricing, if a user views and then clicks on an ad, the advertiser is charged and the account balance is reduced by the bid price.  In the case of CPV pricing, if a user views the interstitial (landing page), the advertiser is charged and the account balance is reduced by the bid price.  The system dynamically charges advertisers the per unit price using an auction–style pricing model which operates like other major online auction systems.  Advertisers have the ability to see other bids in the network and can attempt to outbid them.  The higher the bid, the higher the placement and the more frequently the ad will be served to Trafficvance users.

How much does it cost to advertise with Trafficvance?

The current minimum bid in the US for CPC ad units is $0.15 and CPV ad units is $0.011 (Non–US minimum bids vary from country–to–country).  The average CPC varies greatly by vertical and by the desirability of each keyword.  The best way to understand pricing and performance is to test various campaigns, monitor the results, and adjust accordingly.

Can advertisers use Trafficvance on a trial basis?

Opening a Trafficvance account is free, but advertisers need to fund the account with at least $1,000 to begin testing Trafficvance and placing ads.

What is the minimum daily spend requirement?

Trafficvance has no minimum daily spend, although a reasonable amount of daily spend is recommended to collect enough data to properly optimize a campaign.
